Can Tanca: first BREEAM Excellent certified home in the Balearic Islands
The Project
Can Tanca is a single-family house located in Ibiza that combines energy-efficient design with advanced sustainability criteria. It became the first home in the Balearic Islands to obtain BREEAM Excellent certification, also achieving Passivhaus Premium certification thanks to its focus on energy self-sufficiency, responsible use of resources and respect for the natural environment.

Optimised architectural design to reduce energy demand through orientation, natural lighting, cross ventilation and high airtightness.
Renewable energy production through a high-capacity photovoltaic installation, aimed at energy self-sufficiency.
