Every material has an environmental story behind it: how it was mined, how much was transported, how much energy was used to make it, and what will happen to it when the building is no longer in use.

We analyze design decisions from early stages through an initial environmental diagnosis and work directly on the BIM model, connecting it with EPD databases and our proprietary Net Zero LCA tool. This allows us to calculate impacts, propose optimized alternatives and generate clear reports, useful both for decision making and certification processes . Phase 1: Initial assessment

We compare different building solutions per square meter to quantify their embedded carbon emissions.

The objective is to identify the elements that impact the building the most and propose the best alternatives, comparing them with a reference building of traditional construction.

Phase 2: Scenarios in action

We integrate the selected construction solutions into the BIM model of the project, generating digital twins enriched with environmental information.

Using Zero Consulting Tools we can simulate and compare scenarios, identify the areas of greatest impact and quantify the embedded emissions of each variant, thus evaluating their effect on the overall design of the building.

Phase 3: Data-driven decisions

After reviewing the dossier of solutions and optimizations from previous phases, the final variant that balances technical feasibility, cost and environmental impact is selected. Here the environmental characteristics of the materials, useful for tendering and construction, are specified, and both the embedded and operational emissions expected for the use of the building are quantified.
